Causemo is an exciting Boston area startup, and we are growing! We are adding science to the art of nonprofit fundraising with our donor acquisition SaaS platform. Our new platform product is changing how nonprofits fundraise, helping them exceed their goals more efficiently, and put more dollars raised back into their mission. Until now, data analysis and modeling have never been made easily available in one simple platform to help nonprofits run fundraising campaigns. We're seeing success with some of the biggest and best nonprofits in the nation, and are now looking for an awesome sales star to come in and lead our Enterprise sales efforts. Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

What we are looking for:

  • The good-fit candidate loves selling, and has a passion for helping prospects and customers solve business challenges
  • Is entrepreneurial and thrives in the fast-paced building-stage with a lot of iterating, and also appreciates the importance of sales process 
  • Brings energy, positivity, and intellectual curiosity to your role with a growth-mindset 
  • Is goal oriented and has a track record of exceeding goals 
  • Has 3+ years of sales experience (Enterprise sales a plus, experience in the Nonprofit space a plus) 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and engage inbound leads from Marketing
  • Build your own pipeline of target accounts  
  • Consistently exceed sales goals 
  • Own your account base and sell in additional products and services as released 
  • Work closely with our Product team to help shape the future roadmap based on nonprofit organization's needs 
  • Work closely with our Success team to ensure that our Customer's achieve their required outcomes 
  • Inside Sales with some US travel (~10-20%)

Our ideal candidate

  • Has 5+ years digital marketing experience, ideally in an agency setting (nonprofit experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working across marketing programs including email, social media, and paid ad platforms
  • Is analytical and able to think strategically and creatively to achieve a desired outcome; is always thinking “what can we do differently?” and “how can we do this better?”
  • Is a proven influencer and relationship-builder; has the ability to quickly take on trusted advisor status with customers
  • Is a team player and a problem-solver who is curious by nature
  • Has strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills
  • Seeks out and adopts new technology and processes to improve performance internally and for customers
  • Is comfortable taking a test and learn approach, trying new things and letting data tell the story
  • Will thrive in a demanding but exciting and quickly changing startup environment. Interested in helping build a process and team from the ground up and having an influence in the shape of the company and culture.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Customer Success team, you’ll take on many important roles including:

  • Acting as day-to-day contact with a segment of our top Enterprise level customer accounts.
  • You’ll serve as the day-to-day account lead for a part of our Enterprise customer group.
  • You’ll primarily be responsible for recommending their digital marketing strategies executed on the Causemo SaaS platform.
  • You’ll approach each campaign with a keen eye to audience segmentation and digital journey components (ads, emails, surveys, landing pages, etc.), as well as timing and spend pacing.
  • You’ll also work directly with Causemo’s network of creative partners to recommend campaign themes and messaging, then project manage the creative development to bring these ideas to life.

In addition to offering our customers strategic guidance and marketing expertise, you’ll be responsible for:

  • New customer onboarding and technical set-up
  • Weekly or bi-weekly customer status calls
  • Analyzing campaign results (both in real-time and at the end of each campaign)
  • Ongoing customer relationship building and digital fundraising coaching  
  • Working closely with the Causemo Sales Team to ensure Customers reach agreed upon outcomes
